What is the minimum order?
One. That applies to custom formats too, including multiple sheets and specialty finishing. Send individually, in batches, or as part of an ongoing program.
Can you just print and mail a few pieces?
Yes. A few printed sheets or cards in a well-chosen envelope can be the whole mailing. Wax seals, handwriting, and embossing are optional choices.
Can I see a sample?
Yes. Request a free sample showing Matterleaf’s capabilities. It is an example of our work rather than a proof of your custom format. Custom sample costs, if any, are agreed before preparation.
What is the turnaround?
Approved formats are normally processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days once we have the details needed to produce them. We confirm timing for new custom work and larger batches. Postal transit is separate.
What can change between recipients?
Messages and addresses can change from piece to piece. Artwork, inserts, and other variations depend on the approved format and are agreed during setup.
Can you make multi-sheet or embossed pieces?
Yes. We can combine printed sheets, cards, inserts, different papers, and specialty finishing in an approved custom format, with a minimum order of one.
Do I need a wax seal or handwriting?
No. We choose the printing, materials, and presentation around the piece you need. Those finishes are available when they suit it.
What materials do you use?
Paper, envelopes, and inserts are chosen around the format. Our standard letter formats use cardstock and an envelope; other papers, colors, and presentation details are available for custom work.
Can we run recurring mailings?
Yes. Once a format is approved, you can keep using it as recipients and messages change. Send one at a time, in batches, or on an agreed schedule.
Can sends come from our own systems?
Yes. Matterleaf has an API for standard formats and approved custom formats. Access is arranged by inquiry, and the fields and options that change with each send depend on the approved product. Read the API guide.
What does custom setup cost?
It depends on the format. We agree on samples, pricing, setup work, and any prepaid mailing credit before work begins.
Can you mail wax-sealed pieces?
Yes. We choose materials, envelope construction, and postage around the finished piece. Extra protection or postage may be needed for particular formats.
Do you ship internationally?
Tell us where the piece is going. We will review the format, postage, and handling before confirming the mailing.
Can I change an order?
Contact us as soon as possible. Changes may be possible before production or material costs begin; once work is underway, options may be limited.
